Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Tricana Group collects through tricanagroup.com and our portal, why we collect it, who we share it with and what choices you have. It covers the site and our related outreach, including email, phone and text contact.

The short version: we collect the contact details you give us so we can reply, book appointments and stay in touch about our services. We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

  1. 1. Information we collect

Information you give us through the contact form:

    • first and last name
    • email address
    • phone number
    • the message you write
    • the page of this site your enquiry started from, so we know what you were reading
  2. 2. Information from working with us

If you become a client or prospective client, we hold what the project needs: appointment times and locations, the property or site address, scope and specification notes, correspondence with you, and billing and payment records.

If you hold a portal account, we hold your name, work email address, role and permissions, and a record of your activity in the portal. Portal accounts are created by an administrator, not by self sign-up.

  3. 3. What we do not collect

We do not store your IP address or browser user agent with your enquiry. We do not run advertising pixels, tag managers or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not collect precise location, biometric data or government identifiers through it. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not report you to a font provider.

We do not knowingly collect information from children. The Service is meant for business use by adults. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

  4. 4. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

    • respond to your enquiry and answer questions
    • schedule, confirm and follow up on appointments, consultations and site visits
    • prepare and send estimates, proposals and project updates
    • carry out marketing and outreach about our services, capabilities and completed work, by email, phone and text message
    • deliver, invoice and support work you have engaged us for
    • operate and secure the portal, and keep the site working
    • keep business records and meet legal, tax, insurance and licensing obligations
  5. 5. Marketing, calls and text messages

When you give us your email address and phone number through the contact form, you are agreeing that we may use them for the purposes listed above, including marketing and outreach. Marketing consent is never a condition of getting a quote or doing business with us.

You can opt out at any time and it costs you nothing. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, reply STOP to any text message, or tell whoever you are speaking with that you would like to be taken off the list. You can also call 949-239-7355 or use the contact form to ask us to stop.

Opting out of marketing does not stop messages we need to send about work already under way, such as an appointment confirmation, a scheduling change or an invoice.

  6. 6. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only to do their job for us:

    • Supabase, which hosts the database holding enquiries and portal records
    • Resend, which delivers enquiry notifications to our inbox
    • our website host, which serves the pages and keeps operational logs
    • our email, phone and scheduling providers, where those are used to reach you
  7. 7. Other disclosures

We may also disclose information to accountants, insurers, lawyers or other professional advisers who need it; to a subcontractor or design professional working on your project, where it is needed to do the work; when the law, a subpoena or a regulator requires it; to protect our rights, safety or property; and to a successor if the business is reorganised, sold or transferred.

  8. 8. Cookies and similar technologies

The public pages of this site do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in to the portal sets a strictly necessary session cookie so you stay signed in; clearing it signs you out.

The site is a progressive web app and installs a service worker that caches pages and images in your browser so it stays usable offline. That cache lives on your device, is not readable by us and can be cleared from your browser settings.

  9. 9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the relationship, and we review them periodically. Client and project records are kept for the life of the project and then for as long as our legal, tax, warranty, licensing and insurance obligations require. Portal accounts are removed when the person leaves or the engagement ends.

Where we no longer need information and no obligation requires us to hold it, we delete it.

  10. 10. How we protect it

Access to enquiries and portal data is restricted by role and enforced at the database level, not just in the interface. Data is encrypted in transit, and the site is served over HTTPS only. Administrator access is limited to a small number of named people.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through the contact form.

  11. 11. Your choices and rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Subject to its exceptions, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, though we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, call 949-239-7355 or use the contact form and say what you are asking for. We will need enough information to confirm who you are before we act, and an authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission. We respond within the time the law allows.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to stop marketing to you, and we will.

  12. This site links to pages we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Read their policies before giving them your information.

  13. 13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.

  14. 14. Contact us

For any privacy question or request, write to Tricana Group, Newport Beach, California, call 949-239-7355 or use the contact form. Our Terms of Service cover use of the site itself.
